What is it?
A fund to issue microloans to indigenous black and off-reserve Indigenous North End community members to support business startup and growth. A network of mentors, coaches, experts, and peers to help ensure successful startup, transition, and operations. Ongoing support and resources to enable continued success and growth.
Why?
To enable new economic opportunities for indigenous Black and off-reserve Indigenous community members. To build an inclusive economy reflective of the North End community. To support and develop business ideas. To create new opportunities for employment. To continue to build the overall North End business community.
Where?
The North End is a historically and culturally significant neighbourhood for indigenous Black and off-reserve Indigenous people.
